Why do we use the word rebel?
We use the word “rebel” to evoke the essence of defiance against the constraints of conformity and the courage to challenge the status quo. It signifies a departure from the ordinary and a commitment to thinking deeper, acting boldly, and living authentically. By embracing the label of “rebel,” individuals align themselves with a mindset of innovation, creativity, and nonconformity, empowering them to break free from societal norms and pursue their own path with conviction and purpose.
It’s a strong word, we know, and that’s a major reason why we feature it so prominently. Here’s how we define a rebel:
A rebel is not merely one who defies authority for the sake of “rebellion,” but rather, someone who fearlessly challenges the status quo in pursuit of righteousness, justice, and truth. A rebel is a warrior of the soul, unafraid to confront the darkness within and without, and to stand firm in the face of opposition. A rebel questions the accepted truths and seeks alternative perspectives, refusing to conform to the limitations imposed by society. They are the champions of freedom, creativity, and forging their own path (life by design) and shaping the future with boldness, courage, and conviction.
